Every year goalies from across North America train with coaches of the Goaltending Consultant Group. The GCG camps give many of these goalies the opportunity to train together and bond as fellow goalies. The GCG Newswire is a way to acknowledge and share the successes of all of the goaltenders who have benefitted from training with CGC Consultants, as well as enable them to keep current and support each other. GCG clients should feel free to contact us with any awards or accomplishments that we may add to the Newswire - your news is our news!

Montreal. Friday, November 29, 2008. The Juniors enjoyed a week off before returning to action on the road Friday night against the Foreurs in Val D'Or. Montreal, who had not played since defeating the Quebec Remparts 8-2 last Friday night, played another strong road game, winning 5-2.
The line of Luke Adam, Pier-Antoin Dion and Guilluame Asselin led the way for the Juniors combining for 4 goals, 2 assists and a 7, with Asselin getting the game winner, his 9th of the season. Nick Layton also added 2 assists and TJ Brennan scored the empty netter to put the nail in the coffin.
Juniors goaltender Jake Allen continued his strong play, making 31 saves on the road for the win. Goals for the Foreurs from Jon Hanzen and Cedrick Henley kept the score tied at 2 through two periods, but goaltender Raffaele D'Orso, who made 41 saves in the loss, could not withstand the Juniors 19 shot 3rd period barrage.
