Schneider Locks in Lucky 13 (Mentors)

Cory is a regular at the GCG Prospects Camp, and has trained with GCG Consultant Brian Daccord for several years.

The Manitoba Moose notched three goals in the third period to beat the Norfolk Admirals 4-1 in front of 3,614 spectators at Norfolk Scope Arena on Friday night. Aaron Rome scored a pair of goals while Matt Pettinger and Marty Murray both potted empty-netters. Goaltender Cory Schneider stopped 28 of 29 shots in his 13th win this season.

3:13 into the match-up, Darryl Bootland and Scott Jackson exchanged punches near centre ice. After a fair-fought battle, both attackers were handed five minutes majors while Bootland received an additional two minutes for roughing. The Admirals racked up two shots on the man-advantage but couldn’t beat starting goaltender Cory Schneider.
